CT is used to identify enlargement of lymph nodes and helps in assessment of metastatic disease in the lymph nodes, visceral organs and bones. It also used to stage the primary tumor by depicting extracapsular spread. CT is helpful in the evaluation of metastatic prostate cancer in radiatherapy planning and treatment follow-up.
