MRI provides the information of central nervous system white matter lesions in time and space, specifically lesions of variable location in the white matter of the brain, brain stem, optic nerves and spinal cord nerves and spinal cord. MRI rule outs the other lesions such as spinal stenosis and brain tumors in subject with multi-system symptoms.
