Cardiac Arrhythmia |
Cardiac arrhythmia involves disturbance of the heart rhythm i.e. heart beat may be too fast or too slow due to high cholesterol and high blood pressure. Cardiac arrhythmias can be benign or may be life-threatening.
Echocardiography, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are increasingly being used in planning before the cardiac catheterization procedure due to complexity of the arrhythmias. MRI can provide information about myocardial motion and myocardial tissue characteristics.
